Abstract:

Essay about gesture interfaces for the physical manipulation of virtual objects. A user will apply transformations (movement and scale) to the object on the computer's screen by moving his/her hands with simple gestures.

 When the user will press both buttons on his/her thumbs, the values of the accelerometers in both hands will be read. Having them pressed, moving hands in the same direction will change the center of the graph. Moving them in oposit directions will scale the virtual object.
